Pregnancy

Pregnancy monitoring

The midwife is empowered to follow physiological pregnancy.
From conception, you can contact your midwife who will carry out medical monitoring of your pregnancy. She will perform the clinical examination, prescribe ultrasounds, additional examinations, biological analyzes and prescribe the appropriate medications.
If the midwife detects a pathology, the doctor will take over for the continuation of the pregnancy follow-up.
The last two consultations, of the 8th and 9th month of pregnancy will then be carried out by the obstetrician gynecologist of your maternity.

Early prenatal interview of the 4th month

An interview is now offered to all pregnant women during the second trimester of pregnancy. Its objectives are prevention, education and guidance. It is part of preparation for birth and parenthood and should not be used as a substitute for pregnancy follow-up consultations.

This interview with a midwife takes approximately 45 minutes. It is called the fourth month interview but may take place later during pregnancy.
This is an intimate exchange with your midwife, where you can ask questions about pregnancy and childbirth, discuss difficulties. Your midwife will be at your disposal to advise you, guide you if necessary and accompany you. This first contact encourages your investment

Pre-conceptual consultation

If you have a child project you can consult a midwife before starting a pregnancy: this is the preconception consultation. This consultation is recommended for all. It consists of carrying out a complete examination, giving diet-hygiene recommendations, screening for risk factors, referring to specialists if necessary, prescribing additional examinations and biological analyzes.
It allows you to prepare as well as possible to start pregnancy in the best possible conditions.

At-risk pregnancy monitoring at home (on medical prescription)

If your doctor considers it necessary, the midwife can, on medical prescription, provide monitoring at home with monitoring. These visits will be done as directed by your doctor and are covered by your health insurance fund.

Classical birth preparation

Our office offers you 8 birth preparation sessions, covered by your health insurance fund.
We will start with an individual session, during which you will be able to ask questions, present your birth plan, discuss difficulties and discuss privately all the subjects that interest you; we will take this opportunity to visit the maternity ward
Then you can benefit from 7 group lessons in small groups, lasting one hour: you will be able to meet other future parents, listen to each other’s questions and testimonies, the small groups facilitating exchanges.
Your spouse will be welcome at all the sessions or can choose the topics he wishes to discuss.
During these sessions, theoretical and practical, we will cover all the subjects concerning pregnancy, childbirth, the consequences of childbirth, we will practice breathing exercises, relaxation, pelvic postures, we will learn the thrust ... in order to best prepare for the birth of your baby.

Sophrology

The office offers sessions of sophrology.

Yoga

It is an active body preparation. Through the practice of postures and respiratory exercises, yoga helps strengthen the body, reduce pregnancy ailments and stress, increase energy, flexibility.
These sessions are open to all future mothers. You do not need to have practiced yoga before you are pregnant.
The session lasts 1 hour, and it is best to come in a casual outfit.
